NORTHERN CHURCHES WOMENS RETREAT 2018
 The women of the Northern UK Churches are excited to announce “TOGETHER” a weekend retreat in the lovely Lake District from Friday to Sunday, 8th to 10th June 2018.
“Together” will explore God’s vision for our relationships as sisters, spanning the various geographical, cultural and life distances between us. “Together” we will share lessons from the Scriptures, meals, activities in the bustling town of Keswick, a dance party and worship on Sunday morning.
We will be staying at the family-run Derwentwater Independent Hostel near Keswick. The hostel is a Georgian mansion nestled in 17 acres of grounds beside Derwent Water and with amazing views of the mountains around it. It even has its own waterfall!
Who is invited: This is for the women only, no childcare will be provided. Teens are welcome at a discounted rate, please email if you wish for your teen to join us. The participating churches are Edinburgh & Glasgow, Manchester & Leeds, Birmingham & Leicester.
PRICES (including lodging, all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday):
£82 until capacity is reached.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Accommodation: This is hostel-style with shared wash facilities. We have exclusive use, no strangers! All bed linen is provided. Some of the rooms still have their beautiful Georgian ceilings. Most bedrooms are on the 1st floor. There are a few rooms on the ground floor should anyone have limited mobility.
Getting there:
By Car:
Two miles south of Keswick on the B5289 Borrowdale road. Hostel entrance is directly off the main road, 150m after the turning to Watendlath.
By Public Transport: Train to Penrith then X4 bus to Keswick. From Keswick take the launch to the Ashness gate jetty; 100m from hostel or bus 78 to hostel drive.
Check in is from 12 noon. Our programmes starts at 7:30pm. Please grab some dinner en-route or if you are arriving earlier enough you may use the self-catering kitchen.
Check out from our rooms is at 10am. We will have our worship service and then be ready to leave at 12 noon.
Refunds: Your payment is generally non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please email Cara Ugolini and let her know as soon as possible. Any refund requests will be processed at the discretion of the Glasgow Church and may incur an administration fee.
