Make a Difference Day
 On December 12th 2009- a group of us sang Christmas carols and raised money for the homeless (via HOPE Worldwide UK) at Covent Garden's West Piazza.
The inspiration for MAD Day, birthed by our sister Helene Mbangu came from Proverbs 14:31. To help the poor is to honour God, and Christmas is the perfect time to remind ourselves that there are many around us who are less fortunate.
We are very grateful to Covent Garden London who gave us two performance slots in one of the most coveted areas in Covent Garden, in front of St Paul's Church.
Our aim was to raise £600- our grand total was £517.23, all of which will be matched by Blackrock Inc. Many thanks to all who came down to Covent Garden to support. Needless to say, the MAD Day team hopes this will become an annual event.
