Good Enough Parenting Workshop Series, London
‘Good enough Parenting’ uses movies, multimedia and group exercises to teach parents how to prevent schemas or lifetraps and meet their children’s core needs.
Dr Jeffrey Young, of the Dept of Psychiatry, Columbia University, USA and Founder, Schema Therapy says of this course:- “In a world of too much information, Good Enough Parenting uses movies to teach parents how to MEET CORE NEEDS, and, at the same time, how to avoid passing down their own dysfunctional behaviors. Schema Therapy has been successful with adults, but I have always wanted to see someone do something on preventing schemas, or Lifetraps, in children, and here it is!”
Who should attend? All parents and those involved in any way with caring for children. The course is especially designed for those caring for children aged 0-12 years. Please bring friends and anyone you know who will benefit from this great opportunity to learn about raising children.
